Calibrang the unit
The calibraon, heading & and mer sengs remain stored in memory, even
aer the baery is removed. So if you’re happy with your current calibraon,
heading & and mer sengs you can simply load up the bait pod and start the
next run.
Why and when to I need to calibrate the Unit?
Due to the earth’s variaon in magnec eld strength and direcon, the
magnec compass needs to be calibrated at your chosen shing locaon. If
you’re at a new shing spot that is over 200km from where you last calibrated
the Fish Seeker, or you noce your Fish Seeker navigang poorly, it should be
recalibrated.
Note: Stand several meters from large metal objects (eg. vehicles) before you
start calibrang.
How to Calibrate the Unit
Step Acon
1 Calibraon is done by selecng the ‘Calibrate’ opon within
the app or using the calibrate compass mag switch sequence.
The Fish Seekers motors will rev three mes to indicate that
calibrang funcon has commenced.
2 The unit then needs to be rotated in 3 axes ( X Y Z as show
