Step Acon
Guiding the Fish
Seeker on the water
Always operate the Fish Seeker in water.
Running the motor out of water can damage
the water jets and motor seals. If the sh
seeker senses that it is out of the water for 5
seconds, it will turn o its motors.
Launching
1. Make sure you launch the Fish Seeker in
water thats at least 20 cm deep.
2. Release it just aer a wave has come
through. This will allow it to steady itself
on its course before the next wave arrives.
App control signals
1. The Bluetooth app is designed for short
range control only (less than 10m).
2. If the Fish Seeker is out of range and
something goes wrong, you will need to
wait for the mer to stop it, then retract
the machine.
Strong Currents
Dealing with strong currents and tricky
condions
1. If the Fish Seeker is driven o course by a
strong current, walk the Fish Seeker 50m
up the beach into the current.
2. Always launch poinng into the prevailing
current, as more line is fed out the drag on
the Fish Seeker will increase.
Dropping the hooks
and sinkers
If you know the area well, you can target the
spots you’d like to sh by adjusng the run
me and heading.
