General Maintenance
Before you launch the Fish Seeker, go through the checklist below to ensure
everything is ready:
Step Acon
Clean aer every use To ensure that any sand, salt or other foreign
maer is removed, wash your Fish Seeker,
trace holder and anything else that has come
into contact with sh with fresh water aer
every use.
Be careful not to ll the inside of the hull with
water while cleaning, instead wipe down all
internal surfaces and the baery with a damp
cloth if salt water and/or sand has entered this
area. Once cleaned, leave the hull parts and
baery separate unl dry.
Check the bait pod is free of bait, and wipe
clean your traces and hooks before reaaching
to the trace holder
Check and replace Check your shing line periodically, looking for
any spots of weakness due to damage or wear.
Replace any secons that are damaged.
We recommend that you replace the enre
main line every 2 years.
Check the main seal of your Fish Seeker,
making sure it is clean and free of sand. The
seal can be carefully removed for cleaning and
inspecng for damage.
Check periodically for signs of wear and
replace if found.
