2 Run me overview
The run me (how long the Fish Seeker will travel out to sea
before turning o its motors and dropping the sinker and bait) is
set using the mer command. There are opons anywhere from
1 to 12 minutes. A good guide is 6 minutes in calm condions
to send the unit approx. 600 m from shore. The rougher the
condions the longer it will take the unit to travel. In very
large surf it may the full 12 minutes to reach 600 m Take into
consideraon how much line you have on your reel when sending
the unit out. Ensure the Fish Seeker does not reach the end of
the line as this can lead to tangles or even pulling your shing
rod out to sea if it isn’t well secured. Reduce the run me as
necessary.
3 Seng the run me
Swipe your magna-ring from square to circle to commence
the run me funcon. The unit will buzz once to acknowledge
the funcon, then will start revving in short increments ( each
rev equals one minute). Once you have reached the desired
me tap circle or square to select the me. The unit will then
rev conrming the run me selected , for example: 6 revs = 6
minutes.
