  If there is an unpleasant smell from the Braun Electric Shaver head, it may be because the shaver head is cleaned with water. When cleaning with water, use only hot water and occasionally some liquid soap (without abrasive substances). Remove the foil & cutter cassette to let it dry. Also, the cleaning cartridge may be in use for more than 8 weeks; change it at least every 8 weeks.

Also, the drain of the Clean&Charge Station could be clogged; clean it with a wooden toothpick. If the cleaning cartridge has been used for a while, the alcohol proportion may have decreased while the oil proportion has increased; remove residue with a cloth.
