Steps to follow if gas odor is detected: shut off gas, extinguish flame, open lid.
Do not store spare LP gas cylinders under or near the appliance.
Leak test connections before first use and after each refill. Never use open flame.
Keep children away, do not leave unattended, avoid contact with hot surfaces.
Grill must be used outdoors in a well-ventilated space, with minimum clearance from buildings.
Use a 20 lb. LP cylinder with a Type 1 valve and over-filling protection device (OPD).
Turn off valve when not in use, handle with care, secure upright, avoid heat and ignition sources.
Never store spare LP cylinders near the grill; propane gas is heavier than air.
Only allow qualified dealers to fill cylinders; do not fill beyond 80% capacity.
Never use grill without leak testing all gas connections and hoses.
Ensure valve is closed, knobs are off, remove cap, insert nipple, tighten coupling nut by hand.
Do not smoke, perform outdoors in well-ventilated area, never use open flame.
Apply soap-water mixture to fittings and check for growing bubbles indicating a leak.
Failure to follow steps can result in injury or damage. Read all warnings.
Open lid before lighting, ensure knobs are off, turn valve fully open, do not stand over grill.
Push and turn control knob to HIGH for 2-3 seconds to light burner. Repeat if necessary.
Turn off cylinder valve first, then turn all burner control knobs to OFF.
