Infant Car Seat Capacities
Use rear-facing only with children:
• who weigh between 1.8 and 10 kg (4 and 22 lbs) and
• who are 81.3 cm in height (32 in.) or less and
• when the top of the head is 2.5 cm (1 in.) or more below the top
of the child seat shell and
• when the harness straps are located in the
closest harness slot at or below the child’s
shoulders.

IMPORTANT: Review the “Before You Install”
section of the book before installing the base
or car seat without base.

The child has outgrown the infant car seat when:
• the child exceeds 10 kg (22 lbs) in weight or
• the top of the head is less than one inch from top
of the child seat shell or
• height exceeds 81.3 cm (32 in.).
