Securing Your Child
Fasten the chest clip.7
The correct height for the *
chest clip is at the middle of
the chest at armpit level.
The HUGS™ chest pads may *
be placed in any position
that is comfortable for the
child within the range of the
correctly placed chest clip.
Harness Mode
Pull the harness adjuster strap to 8
fully tighten the harness.
It may be necessary to *
adjust the harness straps
and HUGS™ chest pads
for comfort and snugness
as you tighten the harness.
The harness should have
a comfortable but snug fit
around the child. A snug fit
allows you to place no more
than two fingers between
your child’s collarbone and
the harness.
NOTE: The arm rests must be in the down position during travel.
Verify secure installation.

Harness straps are not twisted. 9
Harness is snug. 9
Buckle is fastened. 9
Chest clip is at the child’s armpit level. 9
