slotPowerOff
Removes power from a slot.
Synopsis slotpoweroff slot
Description Use this command to turn off the power to a blade unit. The slot must have a valid blade unit
present and the blade unit must be of a type that can be powered off.
Note The execution of this command is subject to Virtual Fabric or Admin Domain restrictions that may
be in place. Refer to chapter 1, "Using Fabric OS commands" and Appendix A, "Command
Availability" for details.
Operands This command has the following operand:
slot Specify the slot number of the blade to be powered down. This operand is
required.
Examples To power off blade unit 3:
switch:admin> slotpoweroff 3
Slot 3 is being powered off
