© Installing the movable and fixed knives
(1)
Turn the machine pulley by hand until the bobbin case openers are pulled all the way in the arrow direction.
(2) Temporarily fasten the movable knife
0 with the screws
8.
and operate the movable knife 0 while pressing it with
your finger from above.
(Securely tighten the screws 8 after the clearance between the tip
of
the movable knife and the holder bracket is set to
0.05 - 0.2 mm.)
(3) Fasten the fixed knife

to the needle plate with the screws

(Note the fixed knife has right and
wrong
sides.)
(4) Fasten the needle plate
With
the screws e and
G.
(5) Fasten the cover 8 with the screws

(6) Tilt the head back and install the knife return spring
0.
(7) Return the head to its origmal
pos1t1on.
(8) Install the needles m the needle clamp and lower the presser foot.
