[!] VIBRATING PRESSER FOOT AND LIFTING PRESSER FOOT AND NEEDLE TIMING ADJUSTMENT
• When the needle descends. the lifting presser foot must touch the feed dog before the needle point reaches the feed
dog. When the
needle drops. the needle pomt must clear the feed dog before the lifting presser foot rises.
When the needle goes down.

1. Loosen two screws 8.
When the needle goes up.

2. Adjust vibrating presser foot 0. lifting presser foot 0 and needle timing by turning by turning upper feed eccentric
wheel&.
• After the adjustment. tighten screws 8 securely.
III UPPER FEED ADJUSTMENT
• This machine is assembled so that upper feed (needle feed) matches lower feed. (The reference line on the needle feed
rock crank matches the reference
line on the collar.)
• If
the upper and lower feeds do not match. increase or decrease upper feed as follows to match sewing conditions.
1. Loosen nut 0.
2. To decrease upper feed. move nut 8 toward feed driving shaft 8.

3. To increase upper feed. move nut 0 toward the tip of needle feed rock crank 0.
• After the adjustment. tighten nut 0 securely.
