To reset MFC-L2700dw
When “Replace toner” shows on the LCD panel …
> press Menu
> press  or  until you get “General setup”
> press OK
> press  or  to select “Replace toner”
> press OK
> press  or  to select “Continue”
> press OK
> press Stop/Exit
To reset DCP-L2560dw, MFC-L2720dw, MFC-L2740dw
> Press Settings
> navigate to “All settings”
> navigate to “General setup”
> navigate to “Replace toner”
> press “continue”
> press Home
After resetting, carry on printing until you get fade out
Now that you’ve reset, and the machine’s printing again, just keep printing until you get fade out from actual
lack of toner powder in the cartridge: then refill it.
Typical fade-out due to lack of toner develops progressively as shown in these three prints …….
