When adjusting the tray size from A3, Legal or Ledger to the original size, take care not to trap
your fingers in the gaps or slots at the bottom of the tray.
DO NOT touch the area shaded in the illustration. Doing so may cause injury to your fingers by
cutting them on the edge of the product.

Do not apply weight or pressure to the gray shaded area shown in the illustration below. Doing
so may cause the ADF document support (1) to inadvertently open.
