To resolve this: * Clean the dotted marks and surrounding area. * Keep material/tape within the adhesive area. * Insert the mat with the material facing up. * Ensure correct mat direction. * Clean the scanner glass. * Use a mat specifically designed for the machine.

Press the “Pause/Stop” button, follow the screen instructions, and press the “Feed” button to feed out the mat. If it doesn't feed out, turn off the machine, remove the holder, and manually feed out the mat. Then, replace the mat or secure the material within the adhesive area. Remember to pull out the rear tray before re-inserting the mat.

  If the material won't stick to the Brother Cutter mat, it's either extending beyond the adhesive area or the mat's stickiness has worn off. Make sure the material stays within the adhesive area, or replace the mat with a new one.
