STRAIGHT AND ZIGZAG STITCHING

CHANGING SEWING DIRECTION
1. Stop the machine at the point where you wish to change
direction with the needle still in the fabric.
2. Raise the presser foot and turn the fabric to line up its new
direction using the needle as a turning point.
3. Lower the presser foot and start sewing in the new direction.
FINISHING SEWING
Reverse stitching is used to lock the threads at the end of the seam
or wherever reinforcement is needed.
1. Stitch to the end of the seam and stop.
2. Push the Reverse Sewing Lever and stitch backwards for 1 cm
(3/8") from the end of the fabric.
POUR MODIFIER LE SENS DE LA COUTURE
1. Arrêter la machine à l’endroit où vous souhaitez changer de sens de
couture, en veillant à ce que l’aiguille soit bien piquée dans le tissu.
2. Relever le pied-de-biche et faire pivoter le tissu autour de l’axe formé
par l’aiguille, pour l’orienter dans la nouvelle direction.
3. Abaisser le pied-de-biche et commencer à coudre dans le nouveau
sens.
POUR TERMINER LA COUTURE
Utiliser la marche arrière pour arrêter les fils à la fin d’une couture ou pour
la renforcer.
1. Piquer jusqu’au bout de la couture puis arrêter la machine.
2. Appuyer sur le levier de couture en marche arrière et coudre en arrière
sur 1 cm à partir du bord du tissu.Removing the Material from the

CAMBIO DE SENTIDO DE COSTURA
1. Pare la máquina donde quiera cambiar de sentido, con la aguja
picada en el tejido.
2. Levante el prensatelas y gire el tejido en la dirección que debe
seguir, usando la aguja como placa giratoria.
3. Baje el prensatelas y empiece a coser en la nueva dirección tal
como ilustrado.
PARA TERMINAR LAS COSTURAS
La puntada de retroceso se usa para trabar los hilos al final de una
costura o en cualquier punto donde sea necesario reforzar la costura.
1. Cosa hasta el final de la costura y pare.
2. Apriete el pulsador de retroceso y cosa hacia atrás sobre 1 cm (3/
8") a partir de la orilla del tejido.
