Pre-Start Check, 2-Speed Indoor Fan Motor Option
1. Remove the access panel to reach the VFD.
• 548J/549J/551J/558J/580J/581J Series: Blower compart-
ment panel
• 524J: Rear access panel
NOTE: See Fig. 6-23 for VFD location in the units covered
by this document.
2. Read all safety, caution and warning labels.
3. Inspect wiring at the VFD for loose or disconnected wires
at the terminal strip and for wires in contact with sharp
edges and moving parts (pulley, belt).
