To delete a memory password
Press SELECT FUNCTION.

Enter 6.

Press YES.
Display shows PRG PASSWORD [ ]
Press SPACE.
Display changes to DELETE PASSWORD?
Press YES. The password is deleted.

Restricted access
You can stop unauthorised people from using your
machine and give different groups of people
separate passwords. You first set a Department ID
for each group you want – this is a 2-digit code and
then a 4-digit password. Users just enter the
appropriate 4-digit password in order to use your
eF@x 2000.
The user function 26: RESTRICT ACCESS must be
set to On.
Please note
When restricted access is switched On, you will not
be able to use the Fax2Net service.
To set a memory password
Press SELECT FUNCTION.
Press

Press YES.

Enter the 4-digit password you want.
