Send a text message
1. Press or , until 
TXT Menu
is displayed. Select the
OK option.
2.
If you have set up personal user areas, press or to
highlight the user area you want and press 
OK. Enter
your sub-address PIN code and press 
OK.
If you have not set up any user areas continue to point 3.
3.
Write Message
is displayed. Select the OK option. 
4. Use the keypad to write your message then select 
Opt.
5. You can now use  or  to scroll and choose from
the following options:
Send to
– Select OK.
Either enter the number you want to send to using the
keypad and select 
OK.
OR, select  to open the directory and scroll  or 
to search for the name you want and select 
OK.
OR, select  to open the Calls list and scroll  or 
to search for the name/number you want and select 
OK.
Select 
OK again to confirm and view the sending mode
options:
Press or to select 
Text
or 
Fax
and select OK.

At any time, press Back to go back
to the previous screen, or press
and hold END to cancel and return
to standby.
For quick access to the SMS menu,

OK from standby mode.

Select the 
Clear option to delete
incorrect characters.
Use  or  to move the cursor
through the text, if you want to
insert/delete text.

In the middle of the display, above
the middle option button the
number of remaining characters is
displayed.
