TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
The Tuner does not
switch on
No power Check the 27V d.c. voltage
on the green terminal
(even if the item is
supplied with cable item
L4668 BUS/60)
The blue backlighting
does not light up when
any of the keys are
pressed
Defective tuner Replace
Tuner ON, backlighting
working but no sound
Amplifi ers OFF or distant Go to the room where the
amplifi ers are and switch
them on
No 27V d.c. voltage on the
Sound System BUS with
extra power supply
Check the 27V d.c. voltage
on the Sound System BUS
When a station has been
tuned, the green LED
does not light up
The antenna wire has not
been extended
For best reception keep
the antenna wire straight
and if possible vertical
The signal received is
extremely weak
Use F500 COAX connected
to an antenna system
The Radio Tuner is in a well
shielded room (cellars,
behind heavily reinforced
concrete structures)
When a station has been
tuned, the red LED does
not light up
The antenna wire has not
been extended
For better reception keep
the antenna wire straight
and if possible vertical
The tuned station does not
transmit in stereo
The signal received is weak
for good stereo reception
Use F500 COAX connected
to an antenna system
The Radio Tuner is in a well
shielded room (cellars,
behind heavily reinforced
concrete structures)
