u Loosen the screw handles (2) and the screw (3) using the TX30 Torx key supplied
with the apparatus.
u Move the rotary drive unit together with the glass components and screw-handles
(2) and screw (3) so that the adjustment range of the handle (1) is sufficient to be
able to immerse the evaporating flask in the heating bath and completely lift it out
of the heating bath.
u Re-tighten the screw (3) using the TX30 Torx key.
u Adjust screw-handle (2) so that it acts as a stop for downward adjustment of han-
dle (1). When the handle is at its lowest position, there should be a minimum
clearance of 10mm between the evaporating flask and the edge and/or the bot-
tom of the heating bath in order to prevent the flask colliding with the heating bath.
