Why BUSCH R5 ATEX has abnormal oil consumption?
    • W
      William PayneAug 27, 2025
Abnormal oil consumption in your BUSCH Water Pump can stem from a few issues: oil leaks (contact Busch to replace seals), a malfunctioning float valve (FV) (contact Busch to check and repair the float valve and oil return line), or running the machine at atmospheric pressure for an extended period (ensure the machine operates under vacuum).

Why BUSCH Water Pump fumes or expels oil?
    • J
      Jessica CarterAug 26, 2025
If your BUSCH Water Pump is fuming or expelling oil droplets, it could be due to: partially clogged exhaust filters (EF) – replace them; an exhaust filter (EF) with o-ring not fitted properly – ensure correct positioning; or a malfunctioning float valve (FV) – contact Busch for repair.

Why is the oil in my BUSCH R5 ATEX emulsified?
    • P
      Philip JenningsAug 25, 2025
If the oil in your BUSCH Water Pump is emulsified, it might be because the machine sucked in liquids or significant amounts of vapor, in which case you should contact Busch to flush the machine. Also, clean the filter of the gas ballast valve (GB). Consider modifying the operational mode.
