Power source
Mains power
1. Unwind the mains power cable to its full length. Connect the end of the cable to the DC IN
Socket at the rear of the unit and then connect the mains adapter to the mains socket.
Make sure the mains adapter is firmly inserted into the mains socket. The unit is now ready to
use.
2. To switch the unit o
completely, unplug the mains adapter from the mains socket.
- Connecting the unit to any other power source may cause damage to the unit.
- Hold the power adaptor when plugging it into an outlet or unplugging it. Never pull the
cord itself.
General operation
Powering ON/OFF
When you first connect the unit to the mains socket, display will show a clock image. If you can
receive a DAB signal in your location, the unit will synchronise to the current local time.
∞ Press and hold the Power/Mode button on the unit or press Power button on the remote
control to switch the unit to ON mode.
∞ Press and hold the Power/Mode button on the unit or press Power button on the remote
control to switch the unit back to STANDBY mode.
∞ Disconnect the mains adaptor from the mains socket if you want to switch the unit o
completely.
∞ When the unit is idle for approximately 15 minutes in DAB Bluetooth, CD or USB mode,
it will automatically switch to standby.
∞ Please turn the unit o
completely to save energy when not in use.
Selecting Modes
Press the MODE button repeatedly on the unit or remote control to switch between Digital Radio,
FM, Bluetooth, Auxiliary Input, CD & USB modes.
