1 Battery coolant expansion reservoir
2 Motor coolant expansion reservoir
A satisfactory coolant level in the expansion
reservoir should be between the “MAX”
(maximum fluid level) and "MIN" (minimum fluid
level) marks.
If the coolant level is below the lower limit mark,
refill the coolant to the upper limit (MAX) mark.
Check if the cooling system leaks.
Always use the coolant same as those applied to the vehicle from the manufacturer. It
is unnecessary to add any blending agent. Do not mix antifreeze of different brands
and models.
Do not add any rust inhibitor or other additives to the cooling system, because the
additives may be incompatible with coolant or motor components.
Be sure to confirm that the motor, high-voltage electronic control integrated module,
expansion reservoir and radiator have cooled down before opening the expansion
reservoir cover.
Opening the expansion reservoir cover before the motor is completely cooled may
cause spraying of the coolant, which will result in serious scald.
