Insert the 23A battery into the bell push, ensuring correct polarity.
Insert 3 x AA batteries into the chime unit, observing polarity.
Press the bell push within 30 seconds to confirm pairing with the chime.
Press and hold the learn button (L) until the chime plays a melody for reset.
Press learn button (L) quickly to enter learn mode for re-pairing.
Test chime in intended location; avoid metallic surfaces.
Press melody select button (M) on chime unit to cycle through melodies.
Place chime within operating range; walls may reduce transmission.
Use back plate as template for marking, drilling, and mounting.
Remove back plate, old battery, and insert new 23A battery correctly.
