4 Conguration
The following parameters for the Ethernet or WLAN interface can only be accessed via the web interface:
Parameter Meaning Default
Hostname Printer name for identication in the network generated from
OEM name
and the last six
numbers of the
MAC address
Raw-IP-Port
Service for printing on the network  ”2.1.1” on page 6.
 Select a predened port address.

LPD
Activation of the network printing service LPD  ”2.1.1” on
page 6:
 Set parameter to "On".
 Typically activate the queue name "lp". Several print
spoolers work without queue name.
Off
LPD queue name Activation of the LPD queue name lp
SNMP Data exchange between printer and management station via
SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol). To activate:
 Set parameter to "On".
 Assign the "Community" parameter the value "public".

SOAP Activation of the protocol SOAP (Simple Object Access
Protocol)

Time service Activation of a service to synchronize date and time of the
printer.

Time server IP address of the time server Off
