3.2.1 Pairing with a Bluetooth
®
cellphone
(or other Bluetooth
®
device)
Two Bluetooth
®
devices must be paired before they can communicate with
each other. The cellphone detects the CABERG JUST SPEAK system as a
Bluetooth
®
earpiece. Consult your cellphone handbook to see how to pair
the devices (connecting Bluetooth
®
devices) before pairing with CABERG
JUST SPEAK.
1 Make sure the CABERG JUST SPEAK is turned off.
2 Press the middle
button.
3 The system will come on after about 4 seconds. Without releasing the but-
ton, keep the button pressed for another 4 seconds until the LED flashes
rapidly (alternating red/blue flashing) and a tone can be heard through the
loudspeakers. This indicates the system is in pairing mode.
4 While the CABERG JUST SPEAK system is in pairing mode, search for
Bluetooth
®
devices with the cellphone, MP3 player or GPS unit according
to the instructions in the handbook.

IThe name “Caberg BT3.00 12a” (the numerical part could be different), fol-
lowed by the manufacturer’s identification data, will appear on the phone
display in the list of available devices.
6 Select the CABERG JUST SPEAK device.
7 When the password is requested, insert the code 0000 (four zeroes). The
CABERG JUST SPEAK will confirm pairing with a headset tone, and the
LED will switch from rapid to slow flashing.
8 Switch the CABERG JUST SPEAK system off and on again to memorise
the pairing information.
Note: if it is necessary to repeat the operation, switch the system off and
start again from step 1). The pairing operation can be repeated without
risk of damage to the system.
