sensorzone.Atalaterstagewhenthewildanimalfinallyentersthedetectionrangeofthe
centralsensorzoneanddesnotmoverapidly,thephoto(basedonthestandardreaction
timeofonesecond)willprobablycapturetheentirebodyoftheanimal.

DuringnightrecordingtheinfraredLEDs(IRLEDs)
atthefrontoftheWildlifeCameraprovidethelight
requiredfortakingphotos.
WildlifeCamerausesIRLEDswithalongwavelength,
tokeepredlighttoaminimum.Theprovidednumber
ofIRLEDsgeneratesahighdeflectionanglethusallowingnightrecordingatadistanceof
3mto20m,withoutoverexposingtheobject.Reflectingobjectscan,however,alsocause
overexposurewithinthisrange(e.g.roadsigns).
PleasenotethatnightrecordingusingIRLEDsproducesblackandwhiteimages.
