Why is my Canon imageFORMULA DR-S150 Scanner not being recognized?
    • R
      Robin SmithAug 19, 2025
Your Canon Scanner might not be recognized for several reasons. The computer’s USB interface may not fully support the scanner, as it cannot be guaranteed to work with all USB interfaces. Ensure the scanner is properly connected to the computer using the provided USB cable and is turned on. If connected via a USB hub, try connecting it directly to the computer. Also, confirm that the IP address is configured correctly, and if a DHCP server is absent, use a static IP address. If the connected segment differs, set it to the same segment as your computer. For security software settings, consult your network administrator. Finally, double-check that the device's IP address is correct if the same device exists on multiple networks with different IP addresses.

    • E
      Erica ValdezAug 21, 2025
Pages may be missing when scanning with your Canon Scanner if the scanner driver’s [Scanning Side] setting is set to [Skip Blank Page]. To resolve this, decrease the likelihood of skipping blank page value or set the [Scanning Side] to another mode, such as simplex or duplex.

    Why Canon Scanner cannot scan?
    • A
      Andre PerryAug 28, 2025
The reason the Canon Scanner cannot scan is that one of the scanners may be being used unintentionally because it is selected in the software or operations may have been done directly to the scanner. Check again, which scanners are selected.
  • K
    Kathryn GayAug 30, 2025
Why are my Canon imageFORMULA DR-S150 documents not scanned according to the driver settings?
    • H
      Hayley PerezAug 30, 2025
If your Canon Scanner documents are not being scanned according to the settings configured in the scanner driver, it is because CaptureOnTouch settings have priority over the scanner driver settings. Edit settings in the [Select document] panel, or create a new [Select document] panel using the desired scanning conditions.

What to do if Canon Scanner memory becomes insufficient and scanning stops?
    • D
      dwatkinsSep 1, 2025
If an error message appears due to insufficient memory while scanning is in progress, exit the application, change the scanning conditions, and then try scanning again. This issue is caused by scanning conditions that use a large amount of the computer’s memory.
