No username on auth. server.
Cause A failed response for user authentication was returned from the authentication
server.
Remedy Confirm the following:
• Whether the user name is correct. (See "If EAP-TTLS or PEAP is set as the
EAP type," on p. 2-20.)
• Confirm that the account settings of the authentication server are correct.
NOTE
Confirm the user name format supported by the authentication server, as depending on
the server, the user name may have to be entered in the DOMAIN/USER format or
user@domain format.
Select EAP-TTLS/PEAP
Cause The EAP type of the authentication server is set to EAP-TTLS/PEAP, but the
EAP type of the machine is set to EAP-TLS.
Remedy Confirm the following:
• Whether the settings of the EAP type are correct. If necessary, select the
appropriate EAP type on the EAP Type screen. (See "If EAP-TTLS or PEAP is
set as the EAP type," on p. 2-20.)
• The settings of the authentication server and the access point.
Select EAP-TLS
Cause The EAP type of the authentication server is set to EAP-TLS, but the EAP type
of the machine is set to EAP-TTLS/PEAP.
Remedy Confirm the following:
• Whether the settings of the EAP type are correct. If necessary, select the
appropriate EAP type on the EAP Type screen. (See "If EAP-TLS is set as the
EAP type," on p. 2-25.)
• The settings of the authentication server and the access point.
