6.5 Operating Dump
Falling load deck can cause injury or death
Always fix load deck support bar before doing any work under the load deck
Do not raise or lower load deck or dump load when anybody is standing near load
deck.
DANGER
•Avoid dumping on steep slopes.
Raising or lowering the load deck on a steep slope can make the machine unstable,
causing it to shift suddenly or turn over, causing damage to the machine, injury or
death.
If dumping on a slope is necessary, make the machine as level as possible by posi-
tioning on a large, immobile object such as a rock or fallen tree.
WARNING
•When performing the inspection opera-
tion under the deck, ensure to stop the
engine.
Lowering the load deck suddenly with a
load can damage the machine chassis.
Always lower the load deck slowly to pre-
vent damage to the machine chassis.
CAUTION
6.5.1 Operating Dump (Manual Dump)

When the vehicle is positioned on a slope or
cargo is not placed uniformly but placed forward
in the deck, dumping may occur suddenly immedi-
ately after the deck is unlocked.
