11. UPGRADING YOUR DEVICE OPTIONS
11. UPGRADING YOUR DEVICE OPTIONS
Activating new options on your device is simple.
First of all, you have to contact Cardioline, or your distributor, to purchase the upgrades you need. Be sure
you have the serial number of all the devices you need to upgrade, because they are required to finalize the
purchase.
Once you have purchased the upgrade options you will receive files (one for each device), named
ARxxxPlusSN.ini and ARxxxPlusSWOpt.ini, that allows you to activate the new options on your device.
To activate the new options follow these steps:
1. Copy the ARxxxPlusSN.ini and ARxxxPlusSWOpt.ini files received on a PC.
2. Connect the electrocardiograph to be updated to the PC (see also Par. Errore. L'origine riferimento

3. Copy the ARxxxPlusSN.ini and ARxxxPlusSWOpt.ini files to the electrocardiograph folder.
4. Disconnect the electrocardiograph from the PC and restart it.
The available upgrade options are:
Upgrade option
Description
Extended memory
To extend memory capacity from 100ECGs (Standard
memory) up 1000 ECGs (Extended memory).
Glasgow Interpretation
To add automatic interpretation of ECGs (Glasgow
interpretation program).
Standard Network Connectivity
Only ECG100+/ECG200+
To enable standard network connectivity.
DICOM connectivity
Only ECG100+/ECG200+
To enable DICOM connectivity.
Privacy Mode
To allow anonymous or full access to be managed
NOTE: each upgrade file is specific for a particular serial number, thus for a particular device. Be sure you
copy the correct file on the electrocardiograph you are upgrading.
