Introduction
1.2.5 Electronic expansion valve driver and Ultracap
The Medium version can control an external driver (EVDmini, EVDice) to drive a unipolar electronic expansion valve, connected
to the Fieldbus serial port (J5 FBus).

1.2.6 Ultracap module
The MPXone Advanced version can provide integrated management of one elec-
tronic expansion valve (CAREL unipolar).
Depending on the application, the Ultracap module and its connection cable need
to be ordered separately; this ensures complete valve closure in the event of a power
failure.

1.2.8 Unipolar electronic valve
The MPXone Advanced version can provide integrated management of one electronic expansion valve (CAREL unipolar).
The “Z” series of valves is recommended for use with MPXone Advanced.

• Ability to withstand extreme operating conditions
• Simplifi ed logistics management, by reducing the number of part numbers
