4.0 AIR SCOOP
The thermo fireplace must have the right amount of air to ensure proper combustion. For this reason, it is recommended
to create, in the internal installation area, an external air scoop of adequate size. Air scoop must be calculated based
on the requirement of the internal environment where the thermo fireplace is installed, and must be protected with a grill.
It is recommended not to install other fireplaces, stoves or hoods inside the same room.
If the thermo fireplace is near a staircase to the upper floors, it is necessary to close it off with a hermetic door.
Note: it is strictly forbidden to create the air scoop below thermo fireplace hood, in order to avoid
boiler body cooling.

Note: it is recommended to create air scoops as per drawing, since the grills positioned in this way ensure the pas-
sage of air in a natural way through the chamber (hood) where the heat, released from the flue, is radiated inside the
house.
