12.2 INSPECTION OF CORRECT FUNCTIONING
Before switching on the boiler for the first time during the winter season, it is advisable to:
a) Check the circulator is functioning correctly;
b) Check for any obstructions in the flue due to the machinery not being used for a long period of time;
c) Check the control unit is functioning correctly;
d) Check the chimney stack for any obstructions such as bird nests or beehives, etc.
e) Check the air intake is functioning correctly;
f) Check the inspection plate inside the combustion chamber of the thermo fireplace;
g) Check the proper content of water in the thermo fireplace through the expansion vessel,
13.0 EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE
Due to incorrect use of certain components of our thermo fireplace, you may experience a few unpleasant events that
require extraordinary maintenance. Here is some advice, but we always recommend to contact our customer service
office (tel no: +39 0776 812704 ) or technical assistance representative.
13.1 GLASS REPLACEMENT
The replacement of the glass is a procedure that requires more attention, therefore it is recommended to follow these
steps:
a) Open the shutter-door;
b) Remove the screws of the frame glazing;
c) Remove the frame glazing;
d) Pull out the glass carefully;
e) Thoroughly clean the frame and the glass support compartment;
f) Replace the glass;
g) Replace the glass-structure with the proper seal;
h) Tighten the screws of the glass-structure with caution in order to avoid the glass breaking.
13.2 HANDLE REPLACEMENT
To replace the handle, it is recommended to do the following steps (respecting the paragraph 17.1):
a) Remove the glass;
b) Remove the screws of the handle;
c) Replace the handle
d) Reassemble the glass.
