  If the High Pressure Switch (HP1) is open in your Carrier TRANSICOLD Refrigerator, several factors could be the cause. The unit might be undercharged, or there could be noncondensibles in the system. Check the condenser fan to ensure it's working correctly. A failed discharge check valve (in standby or road mode) could also be the culprit, requiring replacement. Lastly, the switch itself might have failed.

  If the Low Pressure Switch (LP) is open on your Carrier TRANSICOLD Refrigerator while on the road, it could be due to several reasons. The unit might be undercharged. The liquid line filter drier could be restricted, or the TXV strainer might be plugged. It's also possible that the TXV isn't functioning correctly or the switch has failed. Verify the operation of the evaporator fans.
