It offers efficient cooling and heating, with models ranging from 06K to 36K in capacity. The system is designed for ease of installation and maintenance, while adhering to strict safety and performance standards.

Function Description

The 45MAHAQ system operates as a high wall unit, providing conditioned air to an indoor space. It's a ductless system, meaning it does not require extensive ductwork, making it suitable for installations where traditional ducted systems are impractical or undesirable. The system consists of an indoor unit (45MAHAQ series) and an outdoor unit (37MAHAQ or 37MARAQ series), which work in conjunction to regulate indoor temperature.

Key functions include:

Cooling and Heating: The primary function is to provide both cooling and heating, ensuring year-round comfort.
Air Circulation: The indoor unit features a louver and air filter to circulate and clean the air.
Remote Control: The system can be operated via a wireless remote controller (RG10L5) or an optional wired wall-mounted remote control, offering convenience and precise temperature management.
Refrigerant Leak Detection: Some models are equipped with a refrigerant sensor that detects leaks, displaying an error code (ECC1, EHC1, EHC2, EHC3, FHCC) and emitting a buzzing sound. In case of a leak, the outdoor unit compressor stops, and the indoor fan continues running.

Flammable Refrigerant (R-454B, Safety Group A2L):

The appliance uses a flammable refrigerant. Special precautions are required during installation and servicing to prevent fire risk.
Minimum room area requirements are specified in Table 1-A (min) based on refrigerant charge and indoor unit height. The indoor unit should be installed at least 6.0ft/1.8m from the floor, and the room height should not be less than 7.3ft/2.2m.

Usage Features

Installation Location: Requires good air circulation, convenient drainage, a firm and solid location that won't vibrate and can support the unit's weight. It should be at least 3.2 ft/1m from other electrical devices and away from heat sources, flammable items, doorways, or direct sunlight.
Piping and Wiring: The system allows for piping to exit from both the left and right sides of the indoor unit. Proper routing of refrigerant pipes, drain hose, and electrical cables is crucial for performance and safety.
Drain Hose: Must be installed at the bottom of the bundle to prevent water damage and overflow.
Remote Control: The wireless remote controller allows users to adjust mode, temperature, fan speed, and other settings. The wired wall-mounted remote control offers similar functionality with a fixed installation.
Kickstand: The indoor unit is equipped with a kickstand to provide more room for connecting refrigerant piping, signal cable, and the drain hose during installation.
Maintenance Access: The design allows for easy access to the top air filter for cleaning, requiring a minimum distance from the ceiling (3.93in/10cm or more if no kickstand, 8.67in/22cm or more if kickstand is used with front panel open, 4.33in/11cm or more if kickstand is used without front panel).

Maintenance Features

Air Filter Cleaning: The air filter (Part 4 in Fig. 3) can be pulled upwards for cleaning. Regular cleaning is recommended to maintain air quality and unit performance.
Troubleshooting: The manual provides a comprehensive troubleshooting guide (Table 11 - Error Codes, Table 12 - Refrigerant Leak Detection Error Codes, Table 13 - Common Issues, Table 14 - Common Issues) to help diagnose and resolve common problems. Error codes displayed on the indoor unit's window (e.g., E(x), P(x), F(x), EH(xx), EL(xx), EC(xx), PH(xx), PL(xx), PC(xx)) indicate specific malfunctions.
Refrigerant Sensor Replacement: If the refrigerant sensor malfunctions (FHCC error code), it cannot be repaired and must be replaced by the manufacturer's specified sensor.
Leak Testing: After installation, field-made refrigerant joints must be tightness tested with detection equipment sensitive to 1/8 oz (5g)/year of refrigerant or better.
Evacuation and Charging: Specific procedures for evacuation and charging with oxygen-free nitrogen are outlined, emphasizing safety for flammable refrigerants. Charging must be performed by the liquid charging method, and the system must be grounded.
