(d) When the laid drain piping is used for multiple equipment,
the public piping should be lower by about 100mm from the
wash ports of equipment, as shown in the gure. Thicker
pipes should be used for this application.
(e) The hard PVC tube in the room must be provided with a
heat insulating layer.
(f) Don’t place the drainpipes in an area with irritant gases.
Don’t put the drainpipe directly into the sewer, where there
might be gases with sulfur.
(g) Backwater bend
Because the drainage was laid in the position of creating sub-atmospheric pressure easily, gain of elevation of
water in the drain pan can cause water leakage. To avoid water leakage, design a backwater bend. Conguration
of backwater bend can be cleaned; a ‘T’ joint can be used in installing as shown in the picture below. Backwater
bend was installed in the neighborhood of air conditioning. A backwater bend was designed in the middle of drain
pipe as shown as in the picture below.
(a) After testing the electrical system, test the drainage system.
(b) During testing, make sure that the water ow passes through the piping correctly without any water leakage at the
connections.
(c) In the condition of a new house, test the drainage system before tting the ceiling.
(d) Even if it is installed in a season when heating is needed, the testing should still be performed.
(h) Pump lift
Pump maximum lift reaches 600mm. The installation dimension of the pump is recommended as shown in the
drawing.
