5. Basic Operation
5.1 Weighing
1. If a weighing vessel (tare) is used, place it on the
pan and wait for the stability mark to illuminate.
2. Press the [O/T] key to zero the display.
(This operation is called “taring”.)
3. Place the object to be weighed on the pan.
4. Read the displayed value after the stability
mark is displayed.
Error Displays During Weighing
Overload: Weighing capacity has been exceeded.
Negative Overload: The load on the balance is too light.
The pan is not adjusted properly.
For D-type balances, [-oL] will appear if the load is
below the low capacity range.
