4. Whenever lying under the baler is needed to
carry out any kind of maintenance, support all
axles on both sides to avoid getting stuck in case
a tire would deflate.
5. Use extreme care when working on the plunger
or the stationary knives.
6. When working on the hydraulic system, always
ensure that the system is not under pressure
before disconnecting pipes and/or hoses.
7. Oil escaping under pressure could cause serious
injury. When tracing oil leaks, always protect
yourself from accidents by wearing shields,
goggles and gloves.
8. To protect the alternator and the battery of the
tractor, always detach the baler from the tractor
before carrying out any welding work on the
machine or working on electrical components.
9. After having worked on the baler, make sure that
all tools or spare parts are stowed away, and that
all guards are in place.
10. Most farm machinery accidents can be
avoidedby observing a few simple precautions.
11. Avoid a fire hazard by keeping the
machineperfectly clean.
12. Do not work on the tires unless you have
thespecial tools and the necessary experience.
Incorrect fitting may result in serious injury or
death. If in doubt, call in qualified personnel.
Crop cutting system
1. The crop cutting system is by definition a cutting
device thus potentially dangerous. Under normal
operation conditions there are no specific
hazards, provided all safety rules are followed
strictly.
2. Under no circumstances enter the machine with
hands or feet while components are moving even
at slow speed as when turning them over by
hand.
3. Make sure nobody has entered the machine
before running it for inspection, unplugging,
maintenance, etc...
ANGLE OF OPERATION
In the interests of personal safety and optimum
performance of the Baler, do not exceed the following
sideways angle of operation when working on inclines
Maximum angle of Operation is 35% or 19°.
WHEELS AND TIRES
The life and performance of the tires depends largely
upon maintaining the correct pressure. Keep the tires
