Case 446 - Tractor Stopping Procedure; Engine Shutdown and Parking

STOPPI NG PROCEDU RE (Operating The Tractor)
1. Move the travel control lever to the neutral position.
2. Bring the tractor to a complete stop. Apply the brake pedal if necessary.
3. Set parking brake lock.
4. Pull throttle rearward to the idle position.
5. Allow engine to cool at idle for several minutes if it has been working under load.
6. Turn key to left ("OFF") position.
7. Remove ignition key.

CAUTION : Take all possIble precautIons when leaving the vehicle
unattended, such as disengaging the power take·off, lowering the at ·
tachment(s), shifting into neutral, setting the parking brake, stop·
