How to use your cash register
The following describes the general procedure you should use in order to get the most out of your cash
register.
Before opening your store
• Plugged in? (page E-16)
• Enough paper roll? (pages E-15 and E-19)
• Date and time are correct? (pages E-27 and E-33)
• Enough small change in the drawer? (page E-27)
While the store is open
• Registrations (page E-28)
• Issuing latest total sales report if needed. (page E-53)
After closing the store
• Issuing day’s total sales report. (page E-53)
• Withdraw the money from the drawer.
After you withdraw all the money from the drawer, we recommend that you leave the
drawer open when you leave your store. (page E-27)
• Turn the Mode switch to OFF. (page E-20)
