How to use your cash register
The following describes the general procedure you should use in order to get the most out of your cash
register.
Before opening your store
• Plugged in? (page E-16)
• Enough paper roll? (page E-15)
• Date and time are correct? (page E-73)
• Prepared enough bills and coins for changes? (page E-25)
While the store is open
• Registrations (page E-25)
• Issuing latest total sales report if needed. (pages E-33 and E-34)
After closing the store
• Issuing day’s total sales report. (page E-34)
• Withdraw the money from the drawer. After you withdraw all the money from the
drawer, we recommend that you leave the drawer open when you leave your store.
