Feed Gap Procedure
STEPS
We recommend following the steps below to properly adjust the feed gap of 6600.
The Cassida 6600 feed gap adjustment dials can be sensitive during adjustments. Do not overturn each adjustment or
you may overshoot the optimum gap. We recommend testing with a stack of bills after each adjustment turn.
1. Turn the power switch off and disconnect the power cord from the machine.
2. Place two moderately worn $1 bills on the hopper platform lengthwise, centered on the platform, and approximately
one inch apart.
TOOLS NEEDED
NOTE:
To clean the unit, it is recommended
to use Cassida cleaning products.
Philips screwdriver
Feed gap adjustment of the unit is always performed before shipment. Sometimes during transit or after a long
period of use the feed gap might change. Feed gap that is not correctly adjusted can affect the overall
performance of the Cassida 6600, which can lead to a variety of issues such as multiple bills at the same time
being pulled into the bill feed mechanism, jamming, miscounting, and Double Note (DBL) Errors.
