1. Turn on the power of the main unit to display the in-training
screen (any exercise program).
2. Install a brand new pulse sensor, and check if pulse rate will be
displayed.
[Judgment]
ⓦ If the pulse rate can be displayed, the old pulse sensor is
defective. In this case, you need to take actions as speci-
fied in the repair method (a) described at the right.
ⓦ If the pulse rate cannot be displayed, the control unit is de-
fective. In this case, you need to take actions as specified
in the repair method (b) described at the right.
(a) Replace the pulse sensor.
(b) Replace the control unit.
