Cateye Solar Cyclocomputer Installation

Bracket Mounting

Mount the bracket on the left side of the handlebar using a rubber pad.

Wheel Sensor Magnet Mounting

Mount the wheel sensor magnet onto the wheel spokes as directed.

Wheel Sensor Mounting

Clamp the wheel sensor band to the right fork blade using a rubber pad.

Adjusting Wheel Sensor and Magnet

Align marking lines and set a gap of approximately 1mm between sensor and magnet.

Cadence Sensor Mounting

Mount the cadence sensor onto the left chain stay using a rubber pad.

Cadence Sensor Magnet Mounting

Attach the cadence magnet to the inside of the left crank arm with a cable tie.

Adjusting Cadence Sensor and Magnet

Align marking lines and set a gap of approximately 1mm between sensor and magnet.

Fixing the Cables

Secure all cables neatly with cable ties, ensuring free movement.

Cyclocomputer Programming and Setup

Program Main Unit for Use

Turn on the unit, enter serial number, clear data, and replace the battery cover.

Set Speed Scale (km;h or mile;h)

Select and confirm the desired speed unit (km/h or mile/h).

Set Wheel Size

Input specific values for wheel size settings, like 27" diameter.

Set Current Time
