- Do not install the induction hob directly over a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a freezer, a
washing machine or a dryer, as moisture could damage the electric system of the hob.
- The induction hob must be installed in a manner that ensures the best heat radiation to
obtain the best results.
- The wall and the area over the work surface must be heat resistant.
- To avoid any damage and ensure a correct xing of the hob, we recommend sealing the
latter using a sealing gasket or heat-resistant adhesive.
- You should not use steam cleaners.
Connecting the hob to the mains

- The induction hob must be connected to the mains by a suitably qualied person.
- Before connecting the hob to the mains, check that:
1. Your home wiring system is suitable for the power consumption of the cooking hob.
2. The mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the rating label of the appliance.
- The power cord supplied with the hob is sized to withstand the specic load indicated on
the product label.
- To connect the hob to the mains, do not use adapters, reducers, or branching devices, as
they may cause overheating or re.
- The power cord should not be in contact with any hot parts and must be positioned so as
to avoid its temperature exceeding 75°C.
Warning
- Check with an electrician whether your home wiring system is suitable without modifying
it.
- Any modications should only be carried out by a qualied electrician.
- The power supply must be connected in accordance with the relevant regulations. The
connection method is shown in Figure 9.
- If the cord of the induction hob is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, the
supplier, or similarly qualied personnel to avoid a hazard.
- If the appliance is connected directly to the mains, a single-pole residual current circuit
breaker with a minimum contact separation of 3 mm must be installed.
- The person in charge of the installation must ensure that a correct electrical connection
has been made and that it complies with safety regulations.
- Do not bend or press the cord.
- Check the cord for damage regularly.
- The yellow/green wire of the power cord must be earthed at the power supply terminals
and at the appliance.
- The manufacturer is not liable for accidents resulting from the use of a non-earthed or
improperly earthed appliance.
