The induction hob or a
cooking zone has turned
o unexpectedly, emits
a sound, and an error
code is displayed (usually
alternating with one or
two digits on the cooking
timer display).
Technical fault. Write down the error letters
and numbers, unplug the
induction hob from the mains,
and contact the ocial Cecotec
Customer Service.
Please note
- These instructions are intended for qualied technicians, do not attempt to carry them
out if you do not have the necessary training and knowledge, as any damage caused by an
incorrect repair will void the warranty.
- Do not try to disassemble the unit on your own to avoid hazards and damages to the
induction hob.
Error codes and possible solutions
The induction hob is tted with a self-diagnostic function. With this function, the technician
can check the operation of dierent components without de-installing the induction hob from
the worktop.

Board sensor failure (short
circuit).

Failure of the ceramic-glass
sensor.

High temperature of the hob

Wait for the sensor to return to normal
operating temperature.
Press the Power button.

IGBT transistor temperature
sensor failure (open circuit).
Contact the ocial Technical Support Service
of Cecotec.

IGBT transistor temperature
sensor failure (short circuit).
