The safety distance between the sides of the hob and the interior surfaces of the worktop
must be at least 3 mm.

In any case, make sure the induction hob is well ventilated and the air inlet and outlet are not
blocked. Make sure the induction hob works correctly. Fig. 4

The safety distance between the hob and a cabinet over the hob must be at least 760 mm. Fig.

Proper ventilation

To avoid accidental contact with the bottom of the hob while it is hot, or receiving an unexpected
electric shock during use, it is necessary to place a wooden insert, xed with screws, at a
minimum distance of 50 mm from the bottom of the hob. Follow the indications on gure 6.
Warning
- There are ventilation gaps around the exterior of the hob. You must ensure these gaps are
not blocked by the worktop when placing the hob.
- Please note that the glue that binds the plastic or wooden material to the furniture must
withstand a temperature of more than 150ºC to prevent the coating from peeling o.
- The rear wall and the adjacent and surrounding surfaces must be able to withstand a
temperature of 90ºC.
Before installing the hob
- Make sure the worktop in which you install the hob is levelled, complies with the space
requirements and is made of a heat-resistant and insulated material.
- If you install the cooking hob over an oven, the latter must have a cooling fan.
- The installation must comply with all the safety requirements, and the applicable rules
and regulations.
