Note: The default programmed options are marked with *.
Press the [1] to [8] keys in order to turn the appropriate option enabled/disabled and the keypads will display activate/deactivate status of the corresponding options.
After setting these options, press [#] key to confirm. The keypad buzzer will sound 6 confirmation beeps and the panel exits the [032] programming section, waiting for a new
command to enter another section or [#] key to exit the main programming menu.
Notes:
1. There is safe to switch between alternate and split reporting modes, even during the panel transmitting to CS, but switching format types between Contact ID and 4x2 formats is still
recommended to be performed without any active CS transmission.
2. In case the reporting to CS is programmed in this section as alternate, for control panel to initiate CS reporting, at least one CS phone number must be programmed in [074]
and/or [075] sections. If 1
-st
CS phone number is programmed in section [074], the control panel will first try to report any event to this phone number. After the control panel takes the
phone line over for CS transmitting, it will wait 25 seconds for handshake receiving from CS (1
-st
CS phone number dialing is included). In case 1
-st
CS phone number doesn’t answer and, if
the 2
-nd
CS phone number is programmed in section [075], the control panel will try to report the events to the 2
-nd
CS phone number. After the control panel takes control of the telephone
line, again, it will wait for another 25 seconds to receive handshake from CS (2
-nd
CS phone number dialing is included). If neither 1
st
CS nor the 2
-nd
CS phone number answer, the panel will
have a 32 seconds rest time and then will repeat the same procedure for up to 8 times on each of both phone numbers. So, in case of alternate reporting, if no CS phone number answers,
the calling sequence is the following:
[25 seconds: 1
-st
CS phone number dialing and waiting for handshake][25 seconds: 2
-nd
CS phone number dialing and waiting for handshake][pause of 32 seconds][25 seconds: 1
-
st
CS phone number dialing and waiting for handshake][25 seconds: 2
-nd
CS phone number dialing and waiting for handshake][pause of 32 seconds] and so on for up to 8 times on
each of both phone numbers.
Please note, if any of the CS phone numbers is not programmed, the dialing of the respective phone number will be skipped.
If even after the 8 attempts for both CS phone numbers no central station answers, the control panel will record a “CS1 and CS2 communication failed” event into the 800-event LOG and a
specific reporting code into the CS 85-event internal buffer, too. In the meantime, while this trouble condition appears, the SYSTEM LED will start blinking and the appropriate within system
trouble displaying menu - [*][4] command information will be displayed. If this trouble condition occurred for the first time, and the warning tones are enabled, the keypad will sound intermittent
beeps, every 8 seconds, until the users will acknowledge the trouble by means of [*][4] command, or until system/partition arming. So, as soon as the users had acknowledged the troubles by
means of [*][4] command, the keypad trouble buzzer warnings will stop, as there are no troubles in the system, but the SYSTEM LED will still remain blinking (and the proper information will be
displayed within system trouble displaying menu) until a successful transmitting to the “central station” accomplishes. Upon a new reportable event occurring, if the communication with CS is
established, the entire list from CS internal buffer, the old reporting codes, the new reporting codes and the failed communication
reporting code, which is already in the list, will be reported all
together to the CS
3. In case the reporting to CS is programmed in this section as split (or double), the panel will report to the central stations as follows:
If 1
-st
CS phone number is programmed in section [074], the control panel will first try to report to this phone number any event to be reported to CS1, selected in section [033]. After the
control panel takes the phone line over for CS1 transmitting, it will wait 25 seconds for handshake receiving from CS1 (1
-st
CS phone number dialing is included). In case 1
-st
CS phone number
doesn’t answer, the panel will make a pause of 32 seconds and then will dial the phone number and wait again for 25 seconds to receive handshake; if again the phone number doesn’t answer,
the panel will make again a pause of 32 seconds and the procedure will be repeated up to 8 times.
Please note that even there in section [033] are events selected to be reported to CS1, if in section [074] the 1
-st
CS phone number isn’t programmed, the control panel will not initiate reporting
to CS1 and will not record events into the CS1 85-event internal buffer anymore.
If even after the 8 attempts the 1
-st
central station doesn’t answer (the control panel failed to report the events to CS1), then the control panel will record a “CS1 communication failed” event into
the 800-event LOG and a specific reporting code into the CS1 85-event internal buffer, too. Upon a new reportable event occurring, if the communication with CS1 is established, the entire list
from CS internal buffer, the old reporting codes, the new reporting codes and the failed communication reporting code, which is already in the list, will be reported together to the CS1. In the
same time, if an event of “CS1 communication failed” occurred in the system, the specific reporting code will be recorded into the CS2 85-event internal buffer and will be transmitted to CS2, too.
This trouble condition will turn the SYSTEM LED blinking and the zone 3 LED ON, within system trouble displaying menu - [*][4] command. If this trouble condition occurred for first time, then the
keypad trouble buzzer warnings will be activated, too, and the keypad will emit intermittent beeps, at every 8 seconds, until the users will acknowledge the trouble by means of [*][4] command,
or until system/partition arming. So, as soon as the users had acknowledged the troubles by means of [*][4] command, the keypad trouble buzzer warnings will stop, as there are no troubles in
the system, but the SYSTEM LED will still remain blinking (and the zone 3 LED will still remain ON within system trouble displaying menu) until a successful transmitting to both CS1 and CS2.
After a successful or failed reporting to CS1, if 2
-nd
CS phone number is programmed in section [075], then the control panel will try to report to this phone number any event to be reported
to CS2. After the control panel takes the phone line over for CS2 transmitting, it will wait 25 seconds for handshake receiving from CS2 (2
-nd
CS phone number dialing is included). In case 2
-nd
CS
phone number doesn’t answer, the panel will make a pause of 32 seconds and then will dial the phone number and wait again for 25 seconds to receive handshake; if again the phone number
doesn’t answer, the panel will make again a pause of 32 seconds and the procedure will be repeated up to 8 times.
Please note that even there in section [033] are events selected to be reported to CS2, if in section [075] the 2
-nd
CS phone number isn’t programmed, the control panel will not initiate reporting
to CS2 and will not record events into the CS2 85-event internal buffer anymore.
