Parking

Shift the transmission
into NEUTRAL and turn off the ignition key.

the motorcycle on a firm and level surface with the side stand applied.

Do not park
the vehicle on a soft or steeply inclined surface; otherwise, the motorcycle may fall
over.

If
parking inside a garage or other buildings, be sure it is well ventilated and no any flames or sparks,
includeing the service pilot light.
WARNING
The muffler and ex
haust pipe are very hot while the engine is running or just stopped. This can
ignite a fire, resulting in property damage or severe personal injury.
Do not idle or park your vehicle in an area where grasses or dry leaves or other flammable
materials may contact with muffler or exhaust pipe.
